Established in 1995, SMA Marketing is Australia’s only
year-round watermelon producer that is 100% owned
and grown by Australian farming families.

From humble beginnings, we’ve grown together.

It all started with a group of like-minded melon growers.

We saw that there was a need for growers to unify to produce a high quality, consistent, year-round product that met the needs of consumers and drove repeat sales for retailers and wholesalers. Our aim is to ensure we have an efficient supply chain, with minimal handling and as low food miles as possible, so our melons get to the consumers’ fridge as quickly as possible to optimise their experience. We are proud of the quality products we produce and the service we provide for our customers.
